Alexandra G. Foote-Jones combines nearly 20 years of elite estate planning and tax law experience to deliver comprehensive solutions that protect families, businesses, and legacies. A graduate of the University of Arizona College of Law and New York University School of Law’s prestigious LL.M. program in Taxation, Alexandra’s knowledge spans the full spectrum of estate, trust, tax, and business planning.
She began her career clerking for Arizona Supreme Court Justice Michael D. Ryan before returning to Alaska, where she served as a trial and appellate attorney and then spent over 13 years at one of Alaska’s most respected estate and business planning law firms. In 2024, Alexandra further sharpened her expertise as Senior Litigation Counsel for the IRS Office of Chief Counsel in Phoenix before joining Pennington Law’s West Valley offices.
At Pennington Law, Alexandra designs highly tailored estate plans, structures tax-optimized business entities, and advises families on trust administration and probate matters. Her dual experience in both government and private practice allows her to anticipate legal challenges and craft forward-thinking solutions that preserve wealth and minimize risk. She is licensed in Arizona and Alaska and volunteers regularly to assist low-income taxpayers through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
