Josh’s journey into estate planning began with a personal tragedy that shaped his mission: helping families avoid the pain and confusion of probate. After the unexpected passing of his stepfather, Josh watched his mother navigate the legal maze without a proper estate plan. That experience lit a fire in him to ensure other families would never face the same uncertainty.

While earning his law degree from Arizona State University, Josh focused his legal studies on probate, trusts, and estate law—laying the foundation for a career dedicated to helping people protect what matters most. Today, Josh has become a trusted advocate in estate planning and trust administration. His approach is personal, thoughtful, and always client-centered. Every estate plan is tailored to the specific needs and values of the individuals and families he serves.

Josh’s excellence in the field hasn’t gone unnoticed. He has been honored multiple times as a Super Lawyers Rising Star, a distinction awarded to no more than 2.5% of attorneys in each state who demonstrate outstanding professional achievement and peer recognition. This accolade reflects not just Josh’s legal skill, but his commitment to ethical service and client advocacy.

Originally from the Sierra Nevada foothills of Northern California, Josh earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California, Davis. After moving to Arizona for law school, he and his family fell in love with the desert and made it their home.

Outside the office, Josh enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter. Whether they’re attending cultural festivals, playing board games, or exploring the greater Phoenix area, Josh brings the same thoughtfulness and joy to his family life that he brings to his practice.

If you’re looking for a compassionate, award-winning estate planning attorney who truly understands the importance of protecting your legacy, Josh is ready to help.
